
999 got top marks for its approach to LSBU and was delighted to win the contract to create a fresh and inspirational design to span the entire suite of student marketing materials.
LSBU strives to deliver education that is in tune with the needs of business and society. The university is committed to meeting the needs of its students, an aim that is substantiated by being ranked in the Top 10 for graduate starting salaries (Sunday Times University Guide 2007).
999’s first task was to re-design the Student Handbook, the essential information every student needs. This had suffered a little from ‘information overload’ but we rationalised the content, dividing it into two easily portable volumes. Navigating the information was also made easier through a simple way-finding system of colours and icons.
Following our initial success we are now working on refreshing the Faculty Brochures and creating a template system for the individual course leaflets and exterior signage.
