
Attendance figures and hospitality package sales at football grounds are falling and Blackburn Rovers identified a primary factor as, cost of a ticket versus the quality of the experience.
The club therefore decided to reduce the price of matchday tickets and improve their hospitality offering. The club launched new and improved hospitality facilities and packages, outsourcing their catering from Michelin starred Northcote Manor.
999 were briefed to produce an innovative and unusual Direct Mail piece to communicate these changes in their hospitality offering and help grow the take-up of their packages.
999 Design created the 'After Three' mailer. A square, foil blocked wallet with loose inserts, each promoting the different packages. The concept summed up the quality and good, old fashioned hospitality the club wanted to convey, in an unusual and visually interesting way. 999 produced all concepts, copy and organised print and production of the campaign. Uptake has been excellent.
